In the aftermath of the destruction left in the wake of Hurricane Michael in 2018, the Natural Disaster Recovery Division has been utilizing fast-paced contracting processes in acquiring innovative technologies to rebuild Tyndall Air Force Base as an ‘Installation of the Future’.



In this episode of The Debrief, members of the Air Force Civil Engineer Center's Natural Disaster Recovery Division assigned to the Tyndall AFB Program Management Office will explain how utilizing Other Transaction Authorities and Rapid Prototyping are allowing innovative technologies to be quickly employed at Tyndall. Many of these technologies, systems and processes can be replicated and rolled out to the rest of the Air Force.
