A Solemn Mission

Filing equipment and office supplies sit unbothered alone side U.S. military service uniforms inside the Dover mortuary affairs uniform shop at Dover Air Force Base, Delaware. Airmen responsible for the care of uniforms work on metal polishing, decoration preparation and uniform tact for hours in order to give families of the fallen the best representation of the U.S. military uniform worn by their loved one. Airmen remain ready to provide honorable service to fallen service members in their families. (U.S. Air Force photo by/Staff Sgt. Vernon Young Jr.)
