Airman 1st Class Kaitlyn Evans, an 11th Security Forces Squadron patrolman, walks her horse Kobalt back to the stable after an afternoon of riding in Lothian, Maryland. Evans, a North Carolina native, relocated her horse to Maryland at her own expense to continue competing with the horse. Spending about two hours of time with her horse has helped Evans cope physically and mentally as she begins her military career. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. Vernon Young Jr.)
