Dr. Richard A. McKinley, Ph.D., is the leader of the Non-Invasive Brain Stimulation (NIBS) Team in the Cognitive Performance Optimization Section, Applied Neuroscience Branch, Warfighter Interface Division, Human Effectiveness Directorate of the 711th Human Performance Wing at the Air Force Research Laboratory at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, Jul 19, 2016. Researchers working in the NIBS lab are exploring how directed electrical stimulation to the human brain affects cognition, fatigue, mood and other areas with the end goal of improving warfighter awareness, memory and focus.
