Guarding the Skies
                Sgt. Rinke deJong, a Dutch crew chief with the 322nd Squadron, looks over flight records with U.S. Air Force Exchange Pilot Maj. Nearly 300 Airmen and 12 F15C are participating in Frisian Flag at Leeuwarden Air Base. The122nd Expeditionary Fighter Squadron conducted training alongside NATO allies to strengthen interoperability and demonstrate U.S. commitment to the security and stability of Europe. During Frisian Flag NATO air forces conducted air defense missions, offensive missions, missions to protect other aircraft and missions carried out to eliminate static and dynamic targets on land or at sea.
