Aeromedical Evacuation System

A C-17 Globemaster III carrying medical personnel and patients takes off at Ramstein Air Base, Germany. The Air Force Aeromedical Evacuation System is a unique and significant part of the nation’s mobility resources. Its mission is to provide time sensitive, mission critical en route care for patients to and between medical treatment facilities.
